Elite Hockey HQ is a hockey training app and team-management platform that gives players adaptive workouts, pro-built programs, skill video, and daily readiness tracking, and gives teams tools for scheduling, communication, analytics, and wellness tracking. We're looking for an eCommerce Manager to own the online purchase experience across our subscription plans (Athlete Plan and Team plans) and drive growth in conversion, retention, and revenue through our digital storefront and checkout flows.
What you'll do
- Own the end-to-end online purchase funnel, including plan pages, checkout (Stripe), and post-purchase flows, to improve conversion and reduce drop-off
- Manage pricing page presentation, plan comparisons, and promotional campaigns for both individual (Athlete Plan) and Team subscription tiers
- Analyze funnel, conversion, and subscription performance data to identify opportunities and report results to stakeholders
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to test and ship improvements to signup, upgrade, and renewal experiences
- Plan and execute merchandising, upsell, and cross-sell strategies across free-to-paid and tier-upgrade paths
- Coordinate with marketing on landing pages, email campaigns, and promotions tied to subscription sign-ups and renewals
What we're looking for
- Proven experience managing eCommerce operations, subscription checkout flows, or online D2C sales, ideally for a subscription or SaaS product
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with conversion funnels, cohort data, and subscription/retention metrics
- Hands-on experience with checkout and payment platforms such as Stripe
- Experience running A/B tests and using data to prioritize roadmap decisions
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with product, design, engineering, and marketing teams
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple pricing tiers and campaigns simultaneously
Nice to have
- Experience with subscription businesses that serve both individual consumers and organizational/team customers
- Familiarity with sports, fitness, or athletic training products
- Experience with wearable integrations or performance/analytics dashboards in a consumer product
