Elite Hockey HQ is looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to drive user acquisition and revenue growth for our hockey training platform, which brings together adaptive workouts, skill video, and daily readiness tracking for athletes and teams. This role will own the strategy and execution behind growing our free and paid athlete base, working closely with product, content, and support teams to turn interest into signups and signups into subscribers.
What you'll do
- Plan and execute multi-channel growth campaigns (paid, organic, lifecycle/email, and partnerships) to drive free signups and Athlete Plan subscriptions
- Own the acquisition funnel end to end, from ad and landing page performance through onboarding and trial-to-paid conversion
- Set up and analyze A/B tests across landing pages, pricing pages, and onboarding flows to improve conversion rates
- Build and manage a reporting cadence covering CAC, LTV, conversion rates, and channel ROI for leadership
- Collaborate with content and design to produce growth assets such as landing pages, email sequences, and promotional campaigns
- Identify and test new acquisition channels, including partnerships with leagues, camps, and hockey communities
What we're looking for
- 3-5+ years of experience in growth or performance marketing, ideally for a subscription or app-based product
- Hands-on experience running paid acquisition campaigns (Meta, Google, or similar) and measuring return on spend
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable working in tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar to track funnel performance
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization on web and in-app flows
- Excellent written communication skills for crafting campaign copy and reporting results clearly to stakeholders
- Self-starter who can work independently and prioritize across multiple concurrent campaigns
Nice to have
- Experience marketing to athletes, coaches, or sports communities
- Familiarity with subscription/freemium business models and lifecycle marketing tools
- Experience working with wearable or health-data integrations (e.g., HRV, sleep tracking) in a product context
