Photographer

Elite Hockey HQ is looking for a Photographer to help create visual content that captures athletes training, playing, and competing. This role will work closely with the content and marketing team to produce compelling imagery for use across the company's platform, social channels, and marketing materials, showcasing hockey players in action both on and off the ice.

What you'll do

• Plan and execute photo shoots at training sessions, games, camps, and showcases
• Capture high-quality action shots, portraits, and behind-the-scenes content of athletes
• Edit, retouch, and color-correct images to meet brand and platform standards
• Organize, catalog, and archive photo assets for easy retrieval and reuse
• Collaborate with marketing, content, and coaching staff to plan shot lists aligned with campaigns
• Deliver final assets on tight turnaround timelines to support ongoing content needs

What we're looking for

• Proven portfolio demonstrating sports or action photography experience
• Proficiency with professional camera equipment and lighting setups
• Strong skills in photo editing software such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends around games and events
• Strong eye for composition, timing, and storytelling through imagery
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple shoots and deadlines

Nice to have

• Experience photographing hockey or other fast-paced ice sports
• Familiarity with video capture or basic videography skills
• Experience working with athletes, teams, or sports organizations
• Comfort traveling to various rinks or event locations as needed
