Video Editor

Elite Hockey HQ builds periodized training programs, skill video libraries, and readiness tools for hockey players and teams, and is looking for a Video Editor to help produce the video content that powers the platform's skill library and marketing.

What you'll do

• Edit skill instruction videos, drill breakdowns, and coaching clips for use in the app's skill video library
• Cut and produce marketing and social media videos to promote the platform and its features
• Organize and maintain a library of raw and finished video assets for easy retrieval and reuse
• Collaborate with coaches, product, and marketing teams to translate training concepts into clear, engaging video content
• Add motion graphics, captions, and overlays to improve clarity and viewer engagement
• Manage multiple video projects and deadlines simultaneously, from raw footage to final export

What we're looking for

• Proven experience editing video content, with a portfolio or reel demonstrating range and quality
• Proficiency with professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual composition
• Comfort working with motion graphics and basic color correction/sound mixing
• Ability to take direction and iterate quickly based on feedback
• Strong organizational skills for managing footage, versions, and project files

Nice to have

• Experience editing sports or athletic training content
• Familiarity with hockey or another fast-paced team sport
• Experience shooting or directing video in addition to editing
• Basic animation or graphic design skills
