About Gigs

At Gigs, we're building the operating system for mobile services—a platform that lets tech companies embed global connectivity into their products effortlessly.

Just as Stripe lets any business add a payment button in seconds, Gigs empowers platforms to weave in connectivity—bridging the traditional world of telecom with modern tech. From fintechs launching mobile services to HR platforms offering work phone plans, we automate provisioning and remove telecom complexity.

Our team of around 150 people across the US and Europe, backed by nearly $100 million in funding from Ribbit Capital, Google, and Y Combinator. As one of the fastest-growing tech companies, bringing together early-stage engineers, product builders, and business athletes from companies like Stripe, Airbnb, and Shopify. We’re tackling deep technical and regulatory challenges to make connectivity truly seamless.

If you’re driven by curiosity, creativity, and the chance to shape the future of telecom, we’d love to hear from you.

Things We Care About

We are building in a highly complex space and tackling a massive problem. We want people who lean in when things get hard.

  • Speed. We move and we ship. We set bold deadlines and treat every week like it matters.
  • Ownership. If you see something broken, fix it. We don't wait for permission.
  • Customer Obsession. Our customers' product is our product.
  • Ambiguity. We're building frontier technology in a complex domain. You'll need sound judgement and good instincts to make decisions without complete information.
  • First principles. We don't ask how things have been done before. We ask why they were done that way at all.

The Role

As a senior member of Gigs' UK Partnerships team, you'll lead the charge to land Gigs' next wave of banking and fintech partners in the UK. You'll own a focused list of target accounts end to end and draw on your knowledge of how large institutions actually make decisions to find and close the right partnership opportunities.

What You Will Do

  • Partnership Development: Lead end-to-end conversations with target banks and fintechs, from first outreach through deal structuring and commercial negotiation. Build relationships with decision makers across product, risk and innovation teams at target accounts.
  • Strategic Planning: Build and run the go-to-market plan for landing UK fintechs and banks. Map target accounts, find the right entry points, and design partnership structures that work for both sides.
  • Pipeline Management: Own a focused list of 10 to 20 target accounts end to end. Prioritize based on strategic fit, revenue potential, and how fast a deal can actually move.
  • Commercial Strategy: Structure commercial terms that fit large institutions' procurement and risk processes while protecting Gigs' economics. Work with legal and finance to get deals signed.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Partner with GTM, Connectivity, and Partner Success to shape what Gigs offers bank partners. Contribute directly to UK&I market strategy, working closely with the market lead on priorities and positioning.
  • Own the number: You carry a revenue target for your account list. Success in your first 18 months looks like 2–3 signed bank or major fintech partnerships, with a qualified pipeline behind them.

What We Are Looking For

  • You're a proven deal-maker: you've closed complex, strategic partnerships with large banks, financial institutions, or fintechs that sell into them. You know how to navigate long enterprise sales cycles and build consensus across stakeholder groups.
  • You carry real commercial weight: 8+ years in enterprise B2B commercial roles, carrying quota or revenue targets, comfortable owning results end to end.
  • You have executive presence: you can walk into a room with C-suite bank executives and hold your own.
  • You're a highly autonomous operator: you thrive as an individual contributor, building your own pipeline without a team to lean on.
  • You think strategically: you can build an account plan, defend it under scrutiny, and adjust it as you learn.
  • You're a builder at heart: you're comfortable operating without a big company machine behind you. You roll up your sleeves, from writing the deck to chasing the signature.
  • Nice to have: a background at a startup that has sold into big banks.
  • Nice to have: existing relationships or insider knowledge of major UK banks.

Work At Gigs

At Gigs, we value in-person collaboration. We believe the best ideas, decisions, and relationships are built when teams spend meaningful time together, and our culture is designed around that belief. We support flexibility where it makes sense. Some focused work can be done remotely, and not every role or week looks the same. You should expect regular time in one of our hubs, as well as occasional travel for team workshops, customer meetings, and Gigs Republic, our bi-annual company off-site. Our offices are designed to feel like home-inspired workspaces, with plants, thoughtful tools, and small, tight-knit teams that make collaboration feel natural, energizing, and effective.

What We Offer

At Gigs, we believe in rewarding excellence. We offer competitive compensation and stock options because we see you as a true partner in our growth. We also provide stipends for your home office or work setup, a budget for learning and development to fuel your career, and of course, a free phone and international data plan

What applying to Gigs usually looks like

Based on publicly available information, candidates applying through greenhouse for roles at Gigs can generally expect a process consistent with common Greenhouse-based hiring workflows. This typically begins with an online application and resume submission, followed by an initial screen, often with a recruiter, to review background and fit. From there, the process may include multiple stages such as hiring manager conversations, skills-based or role-specific assessments, and panel discussions with prospective teammates or cross-functional stakeholders. Depending on the role type, additional exercises like case studies, technical evaluations, or portfolio reviews may be incorporated. Communication is commonly managed through the Greenhouse platform, including scheduling and status updates. Response times vary and are not guaranteed, so candidates may want to follow up periodically. Overall, applicants should prepare for a structured, multi-stage evaluation typical of companies using this ATS.”
