LandEarly is looking for a Mobile Engineer to join our team and help build LandEarly's presence on iOS, with React Native as part of the mobile stack. You'll work on the mobile app that lets job seekers browse matched roles, review tailored applications, and apply on the go, all kept in sync with our web platform.
What you'll do
- Build and ship new features for our iOS app, using React Native alongside native iOS development where needed
- Collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into polished, performant mobile experiences
- Ensure smooth data sync between the mobile app and existing web application and backend services
- Write clean, tested, maintainable code and participate in code review
- Diagnose and fix performance issues, crashes, and bugs across the mobile app
- Work with backend engineers to define and consume APIs that support mobile features
What we're looking for
- Professional experience building and shipping production iOS applications
- Strong hands-on experience with React Native in a production app
- Solid understanding of native iOS development (Swift and/or Objective-C) and the iOS SDK
- Experience integrating mobile apps with RESTful APIs and handling real-time data sync
- Familiarity with app store submission processes and mobile release cycles
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with evolving product requirements
Nice to have
- Experience with push notifications and background app states
- Familiarity with Android development or cross-platform mobile architecture
- Experience instrumenting mobile apps for analytics and crash reporting
