Job description

About the Team

The Commercial (Mid-Market) Sales Team is pivotal to our go-to-market strategy, driving growth by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts. As a Commercial Account Executive on this team, you will join a dynamic, high-performing group that thrives on innovation and collaboration while championing Miro’s mission to empower teams to build the next big thing. Our team balances ambitious goals with a supportive and fun culture, where success is celebrated, and personal growth is encouraged.

About the Role

As a Commercial Account Executive, you will expand our footprint by engaging companies with 500 to 3,000 employees across a wide range of verticals and industries. At Miro, we support a vast number of use cases & solutions that are rapidly evolving with the pace of AI. As a result, there’s no standardized, one-size fits all playbook to follow. People that succeed here are excited by the ability to help build new strategies and approaches, have the autonomy to try new things, and the ownership that comes with influencing the future of the company as we evolve from a single-product to multi-product company.

If you’re someone that thrives in a rapidly changing environment, and views change as an opportunity, you’ll thrive here.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and execute a territory strategy to identify high-potential prospects using Salesforce, Outreach, Nooks, Claude CoWork, and Gong.

  • Execute a solution-based sales process encompassing multiple stakeholders and LOBs

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of new business, expansion and renewal opportunities by proactively engaging high value needs and prospects across your territory.

  • Build rapport and trust with C-Level and VP-Level decision-makers, often from scratch, to guide them through the buying journey and position Miro as a must-have tool for their business.

  • Guide prospects from discovery to delivery, managing the sales cycle end-to-end to achieve revenue goals.

What you’ll need

  • 2 - 4+ years of full-cycle Account Executive experience with a history of proven performance in the SaaS space (ideally, at least 2+ of these years in the Mid-Market/Commercial space).

  • Experience running a structured sales process (MEDDPICC) with rigor and self-awareness. You lead the broader account team (SE, CSM, Renewals) through your account strategy, bringing in the right resources at the right time.

  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, operating self-sufficiently, and adapting quickly as our product positioning evolves and strives to keep up with the innovation pace of AI.

  • Have experience working at companies going through hyper-growth, company restructuring (IPOs or acquisitions), or leading from the front with company/industry changes.

  • High degree of adaptability working across industries, use cases, personas, and complex customer engagements.

  • Strong ability to work collaboratively and make decisive choices in a fast-paced environment.

What's in it for you

We want you to feel supported, connected, and ready to grow. Our global benefits package generally includes equity, a wellbeing benefit, a WFH equipment allowance, and an annual Learning & Development stipend. Join a diverse team where you can do your best work. Full benefits may differ per location. If you would like to learn more about location-specific benefits, please refer to our Global Miro benefits board.

What applying to Miro usually looks like

Based on publicly available information, candidates applying through ashby for roles at Miro can generally expect a structured online application process beginning with a resume and profile submission, often followed by a brief screening questionnaire. Ashby-based processes commonly include an initial recruiter conversation, followed by hiring manager discussions and may include multiple stages such as skills assessments, panel interviews, or case studies, particularly for customer-facing or technical roles like solutions architect or account executive positions. Communication is typically handled through automated status updates within the platform, though response times vary depending on the role and hiring volume. Candidates should be prepared to articulate relevant experience clearly, as ashby's interface often emphasizes structured, criteria-based evaluation. Following up politely after submission is generally considered acceptable practice.
