Project Details:
- Location: European Union
- Contract type: Full-time, freelance B2B
- Rate: €30-37/h
- Start: middle of October
- Duration: around 3 months (with possibilty of extension)
Requirements
Must-have:
- 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience in production
- Strong SQL and data warehouse modelling skills (star schema, SCD, data grain, dimensions)
- Experience with dbt or a similar data transformation tool
- Strong understanding of data quality, validation and troubleshooting across the full data flow
- Python for data profiling and scripting
- Experience with Git and CI/CD for data pipelines
- Ability to work in a partially documented, inherited environment and independently identify and solve data issues
- Strong communication skills and fluent English (C1)
Nice to have:
- Experience with a semantic layer (AtScale, Cube, dbt Semantic Layer, LookML, Power BI/SSAS)
- Qlik, Tableau or Power BI experience
- Azure ecosystem knowledge
- Experience with legacy BI modernisation
- German language skills
