About the Company

Overview.ai is transforming manufacturing quality control with an advanced edge-enabled AI vision system that combines cutting-edge deep learning with ease of use and quick setup. Our system handles a wide array of inspection tasks—from subtle assembly verification to defect detection and orientation checks—delivering real-time, high-accuracy inspections that seamlessly integrate into existing production lines.

Trusted by leading manufacturers like Ford, Honda, Toyota, SpaceX, Milliken, and Flex-N-Gate, our cameras enable faster throughput, reduced scrap, and lower inspection costs—without the complexity and expense of traditional vision systems.

As our engineering organization continues to grow, we are adding an additional Software Engineering Manager to help lead and develop a sub-section of the broader engineering organization. This role is designed to complement our existing engineering management structure and will work closely with the current engineering leadership team to ensure effective team management, execution, and continued organizational growth.

We are seeking a Software Engineering Lead/Engineering Manager to lead and grow a team of engineers, while coordinating closely with teams in Brazil and the US. You will oversee execution of the technical roadmap for current and future products, manage and develop a team of remote and hybrid engineers, and work seamlessly across time zones to deliver world-class industrial AI products. This is a hands-on leadership role with high visibility and significant impact on the future of our products and engineering organization. To be effective in this role, you should have a strong technical background and be comfortable diving deeply into technical details and understanding complex systems, even when you are not directly implementing the work yourself.

Define requirements, set context and priorities, and report progress to leadership and the engineering organization.

Cross-Time-Zone Collaboration

Travel

Periodically travel to support team members and/or work with customers.

Culture & Performance

Align very bright, high-performing individuals in a fast-paced startup environment, fostering a culture of excellence and ownership.
