Applicants generally create a candidate profile, upload materials such as a resume, cover letter, and possibly references or writing samples, and complete role-specific screening questions. The process may include multiple stages, potentially involving a recruiter or HR screen, followed by department-level or committee interviews, which for faculty or academic roles may involve additional steps like teaching demonstrations or research presentations.
