Remote Recruitment is hiring a Content Assistant for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa, owning day-to-day content drafting and publishing.
Role overview
You will help create and publish content across blogs, social media and email, keeping the content calendar on track.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and proofread content for blogs, social media and email
- Maintain and update the content calendar
- Format and publish content across platforms
- Support basic graphic creation using Canva or similar tools
- Research topics and gather content ideas
- Track content performance and report on key metrics
What you will need
- Experience writing or editing content for online audiences
- Strong written English with good grammar and attention to detail
- Experience with Canva or a similar design tool
- Comfortable using a content management system (WordPress or similar)
- Comfortable working UK business hours
Nice to have
- Basic SEO knowledge
- Experience scheduling social media content
- Interest in copywriting or content marketing
