Job descriptionReq 1432645133

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

Entry level role located in Monterrey, Mexico. Selected  candidate will attend office 3 days a week.

What you bring

You have curiosity and a foundational understanding of DevOps principles, cloud platforms, and how cloud services are built, deployed, and operated. Hands-on exposure to automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code concepts is expected, along with a genuine willingness to keep learning. An AI adoption capability with basic experience using AI tools for productivity, troubleshooting, and automation is part of what you'll bring, along with an awareness of AI output quality and context engineering. Familiarity with cloud architecture, platform systems, identity and access management, databases, observability, and monitoring concepts will help you contribute from the start. Strong problem-solving instincts and comfort with scripting or programming are also required.

What you’ll build

You'll support DevOps and cloud operations by contributing to infrastructure automation and delivery workflows. CI/CD pipelines are a key part of what you'll help build, maintain, and improve to enable frequent, reliable, and compliant software delivery. System health, performance, and availability are things you'll monitor, with incident tracking and early detection being part of the day-to-day work. You'll collaborate with engineering teams to support service uptime and scalability, and you'll learn how harmonized cloud delivery and operations work in practice.

Where you belong

You'll work in a global engineering environment with direct access to more experienced engineers and structured learning opportunities. The expectation is that you engage proactively, ask questions, and take ownership of the tasks you're given. SAP's cloud operations environment means you'll be working with real systems and real-world constraints from early on. If you're at the start of your DevOps career and want to build real operational skills rather than study them in isolation, this is a solid place to do that.

What applying to SAP usually looks like

Based on publicly available information, candidates applying through successfactors typically begin by submitting an online profile and resume through SAP's careers portal, which commonly integrates with successfactors for application tracking and status updates. Applicants may receive automated confirmation emails and periodic status changes visible within the candidate portal. The process can generally include an initial recruiter screening, followed by hiring manager conversations and may include multiple stages such as technical or role-specific assessments depending on the position. Some roles may involve panel discussions or skills evaluations. Communication is often handled through the platform itself, though candidates may also be contacted by phone or email. Response times vary, and candidates are encouraged to monitor their application dashboard and email regularly. Preparing role-relevant examples and reviewing the job description closely is generally advisable.”
