  • Strong foundation in software development principles, including object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, testing, and debugging.
  • Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, React, Kubernetes, or related technologies is an advantage.

  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with teams distributed across different locations.

Join our Edge Lifecycle Management team, where we build lifecycle management and automation services for containerized SAP applications. Our team combines cloud-native engineering, automation, and operational excellence to simplify the deployment and management of complex business applications at scale.

As an intern, you will work in a collaborative and diverse environment alongside both emerging talent and experienced professionals. You will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, explore modern technologies, and gain practical experience in software development for enterprise-grade cloud services.

You'll thrive here if you're passionate about technology, enjoy solving complex problems, and are excited to learn continuously. We value curiosity, collaboration, and innovation, and we encourage every team member to share ideas, experiment, and grow.

What makes this team special is the combination of cutting-edge technology, meaningful product impact, and strong mentorship. You'll be empowered to take ownership, ask questions, and learn from experienced engineers while helping shape solutions that support SAP customers around the world.

What applying to SAP usually looks like

Based on publicly available information, candidates applying through successfactors typically begin with an online application and profile submission, often including resume parsing and standardized screening questions. Given SAP's large-scale hiring across many role types, applicants can generally expect an initial recruiter or automated screening step, followed by one or more interviews with hiring managers or team members, which may include multiple stages such as technical, functional, or behavioral assessments depending on the role. Some positions may involve skills assessments or case exercises. Communication is commonly handled through the platform's candidate portal or email, and response times vary depending on the role and location. Candidates should ensure their application materials are complete and tailored, as SuccessFactors-based systems often rely on keyword matching and structured data during initial screening stages.
