Job Title: Marketing Execution Expert

Purpose and Objective: 

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Marketing Execution Expert at our New York, NY location to drive marketing activities across the customer lifecycle, product portfolio, segment, and channel.

 

Expectations and Tasks:

Gather and synthesize market insights and company objectives including solutions, industry, geographies, and other information. Understand and define the target audience and its preferences, needs, and challenges. Build relevant programs to develop new opportunities to expand SAP market share or reach new audiences. Translate the strategy and business objectives into effective marketing plans, including the respective programs and tactics. Develop, build, tailor, and syndicate content for awareness, demand generation, opportunity acceleration, customer adoption and retention, and other strategic purposes, combining market and competitive insights, business objectives, knowledge of relevant elements of the SAP portfolio, audience insights and intelligence to develop messages and value propositions for integrated programs and campaigns. Manage development and independently deliver integrated and valuable customer experience in any of the marketing programs, tactics, and activities, through digital or physical channels or vehicles. Align with business stakeholders in clearly defined projects to ensure marketing programs successful orchestration and execution. Plan and develop comprehensive plans on how to consider, leverage, and integrate efforts with different routes to market such as channels, ecosystem, and developers’ communities to optimize impact and reach of respective marketing programs. Guide others and professionally advise execution teams on configuration, execution, and best practices. Advise on or manage the execution of the planned programs within the targeted financial guidelines, define the appropriate budget management and corresponding reporting. 

 

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field of study and seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

 

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:

Experience must include five (5) years involving each of the following:

  • Strategic Marketing Planning;
  • Integrated Campaign Development (Digital, Social, Events, PR) including budget responsibility;
  • Brand Positioning and Messaging Strategy;
  • Start-up incubation, SAP processes for new product launches;
  • Sales Enablement & Go-to-Market Content; and
  • Understanding of Software and Technology Industry including Enterprise Software and SaaS.

Experience must include one (1) year involving each of the following:

  • Customer Engagements and Content Development for Industry Experience Centers and Demos; and
  • Digital Transformation and Customer Co-Innovation Projects for Retail and Consumer Industry.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $202,540 - $344,400. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $247,000 - $420,000. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
