Are you passionate about solving complex industrial challenges using cutting-edge data analytics? Seeq is seeking a Solutions Consultant to join our growing team and play a key role in helping prospective customers understand the value of our advanced analytics software.

As a Solutions Consultant, you’ll serve as a trusted technical advisor during the sales process, working closely with the sales team and prospects to do discovery, deliver compelling product demonstrations, address technical questions, and provide expert insights into how Seeq’s platform can solve real-world problems in the oil & gas industry. You’ll collaborate with the Director of Solutions Consulting and other cross-functional teams to ensure every customer interaction reflects our innovative, customer-first approach.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technical professional who enjoys engaging with customers and is eager to make a measurable impact on a rapidly growing SaaS company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but not limited to the following:

  •  Deliver tailored product demonstrations and presentations that clearly communicate the value of Seeq’s solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Partner with account executives to understand prospective customers’ business needs and challenges and align Seeq’s capabilities to their customers’ goals.
  • Provide technical guidance during all phases of the sales cycle, including discovery, solution design, and proof-of-value engagements.
  • Collaborate with the Solutions Consulting team to develop and refine demo assets, reusable content, and best practices that streamline the pre-sales process.
  • Offer input to product management and engineering based on customer feedback, helping to shape the evolution of Seeq’s software.
  • Stay current with industry trends, customer use cases, and competitors to effectively position Seeq.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing by documenting solutions, success stories, and lessons learned.
  • Assist cross-functional teams in developing industry-specific value propositions or solution accelerators using Seeq.
  • Represent Seeq at events, webinars and conferences.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting role, ideally within a SaaS or industrial software company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., engineering, computer science, data science). Preference for candidates with experience in process manufacturing industries, though strong candidates from adjacent domains are also encouraged to apply.
  • 2+ years of experience in an oil and gas technical role or selling B2B to the oil and gas industry (upstream, midstream, downstream).
  • Strong understanding of AI, ML, data analytics, business intelligence, and/or industrial operations and process data.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present technical concepts to varied audiences, including executives, directors, engineers, and operators.
  • Experience conducting software demos and technical consultations with prospective customers.
  • Familiarity with sales processes and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel (varies from 10%-25%) for partner meetings, customer meetings, team events, or conferences.

Benefits

What applying to Seeq usually looks like

Based on publicly available information, candidates applying through workable can generally expect a straightforward online application involving a resume submission and possibly some basic screening questions. Workable-based processes commonly include an initial review by a recruiter or hiring coordinator, followed by one or more conversations with hiring managers or team members, which may include multiple stages such as phone screens, technical assessments, or panel discussions depending on the role, whether at Seeq or elsewhere. Communication is typically handled through automated status updates and direct outreach, though response times vary by employer and position. Candidates should typically prepare standard materials like a resume and cover letter, and may be asked to complete role-specific exercises. Overall, the experience tends to reflect general small-to-midsize company hiring norms rather than a highly standardized, rigid process.“}}
