About the Role

Simetrik seeks an Enterprise Account Executive in Buenos Aires to lead our regional Enterprise expansion in the financial and payments ecosystem. This "hunter" role focuses on building and converting a high-quality pipeline with strategic accounts, driving complex deals to close, and cultivating long-term relationships to help Simetrik scale across the region.

 

What Does Success Look Like?

  • Consistently generate and manage a strong pipeline of qualified Enterprise opportunities.

  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from first contact to signed contract.

  • Become a trusted advisor for senior decision makers in banks, fintechs, and enterprises.

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Delivery, Partnerships, and Marketing to accelerate deals.

  • Deliver measurable impact on new revenue, deal velocity, and opportunity quality.

 

Impact & Scope

  • Open and grow Simetrik’s most strategic Enterprise accounts in the region.

  • Use your network and market expertise to position Simetrik against global and local competitors.

  • Influence go-to-market motions, pricing, and account strategy in one of our key growth markets.

  • Represent Simetrik in high-stakes conversations with C-level and senior stakeholders in the financial and payments ecosystem.

 

Key Results (First 3–6 Months)

  • First 30 days: Deeply understand Simetrik’s products, value proposition, target segments, and onboarding sales processes.

  • 30–60 days: Build and validate a go-to-market strategy and initial account plans. Start developing a healthy opportunity pipeline.

  • 60–90 days: Progress early opportunities through sales stages. Demonstrate pipeline movement and share actionable market feedback internally.

 

Responsibilities

  • Own the complete Enterprise sales cycle: prospecting, meetings, negotiation, and closing.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring an outstanding client experience.

  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders.

  • Design and execute account strategies balancing new business development and expanding existing accounts.

  • Apply structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC/MEDDPICC) and maintain rigorous CRM discipline.

  • Collaborate with Product, Professional Services, and Solutions teams to shape proposals and deliver tailored value propositions.

  • Negotiate commercial terms and contracts to maximize value for Simetrik and clients.

  • Represent Simetrik externally, relaying insights to guide our roadmap and GTM strategy.

 
 

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience, with a focus on Enterprise or upper mid-market accounts.

  • Proven track record in generating pipeline and closing complex SaaS, technology, fintech, or payments deals.

  • Deep experience with multi-stakeholder sales processes and long cycles.

  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills with senior decision makers.

  • Ability to build and manage a disciplined pipeline using CRM (preferably Salesforce).

  • Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, MEDDPICC) and evidence of practical application.

  • High autonomy, ownership, and self-motivation; thrives in start-up environments.

  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken formats.

  • Comfortable working within remote, cross-functional, and cross-border teams.

  • Native Spanish and strong fluency in English (spoken and written).

 

Nice-to-Have

  • Previous experience selling to banks, fintechs, payment companies, or financial institutions.

  • Background in financial automation, reconciliation, ERP, or related enterprise software.

  • Existing network in the Argentine or broader LATAM financial ecosystem.

  • Experience in high-growth startups or scale-ups.

  • Conversational Spanish for collaboration across LATAM.
