  • Clearly define scope, objectives, key results, and develop a clear detailed plan for the execution of technical projects that are tightly aligned with business objectives.

  • Foster a healthy and collaborative culture that embodies SoFi’s values and continue to make SoFi one of the best places to work.

Requirements

  • Strong technical craft mastery and engineering discipline

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to represent and explain complex business or technical concepts internally and externally.

  • Technical aptitude to translate business needs into network engineering opportunities to drive strategic agendas.

Preferred

  • Networking certifications (CCNP / CCDE, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, etc).

What applying to SoFi usually looks like

Based on publicly available information, candidates applying through greenhouse for roles at SoFi can generally expect a structured process typical of this ATS platform. After submitting an application, candidates may receive an initial acknowledgment, followed by a possible recruiter screen to discuss background and role fit. The process may include multiple stages such as technical or functional assessments, hiring manager conversations, and panel interviews, depending on the specific role type. Response times vary and are not guaranteed, so candidates are encouraged to follow up politely if they do not hear back promptly. Documentation requirements, such as resumes and possibly portfolios or work samples, are commonly requested through the platform. Overall, applicants should prepare for a multi-step evaluation that assesses both technical competencies and cultural alignment, though exact steps can differ by department and seniority level.
