Who we are

About Privy

Our mission is to make privacy and user ownership the default online. We build simple, flexible application programming interfaces (APIs) and tools that help developers create products on crypto infrastructure.

Privy provides the abstraction and infrastructure layer above wallets, integrating across blockchain networks, third-party providers, and Stripe products such as Treasury and Link. We solve complex technical problems while using Stripe’s global reach to support customers including Ramp, Klarna, Deel, Kraken, Hyperliquid, and Fomo. Our technology powers experiences for both mainstream users and crypto-native audiences.

About the team

The Account Executive, Product team connects Privy’s technology with companies building new products across fintech and crypto. The team works closely with Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market partners to understand prospective customers’ needs, shape technical and commercial solutions, and turn market insights into product and sales strategy. Its focus includes priority segments such as neobanking, payments, and brokerages.

What you’ll do

As an Enterprise Account Executive you’ll own complex enterprise sales cycles and help expand Privy’s work with companies across fintech and crypto. You’ll build relationships with senior commercial and technical stakeholders, develop new opportunities, and help refine Privy’s enterprise sales approach. You’ll also contribute to Privy’s global growth strategy and represent the company at industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Head of Go-to-Market (GTM) to build and close a strong pipeline of enterprise prospects.
  • Develop and test outbound campaigns based on market and customer feedback.
  • Manage a pipeline across multiple ideal customer profiles.
  • Build deep expertise in Privy’s products and lead discovery calls with fintech prospects to understand their needs and explain Privy’s value.
  • Own the full sales cycle, from sourcing opportunities through contract close, and serve as the primary commercial contact for prospective customers.
  • Contribute to the Go-to-Market team’s strategy across North America and other global markets, including Latin America, Asia, and Africa.
  • Analyze market trends and emerging opportunities to inform Privy’s positioning and sales strategy.
  • Represent Privy at industry events and conferences as a spokesperson for its fintech business.

Who you are

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field, including experience selling a technical product and a record of strong performance.
  • You have experience selling technical products within fintech, crypto, or a related industry. You can build a pipeline, lead complex sales cycles, and develop trusted relationships with commercial and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals involving legal, compliance, engineering, and other buyer-side teams through contract close.
  • Ability to work effectively in an early-stage environment and build repeatable processes where none exist.
  • Experience building strong networks within a specific industry, ideally fintech, payments, or crypto.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, relationship management, and sales skills.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience selling API-first or developer-focused products.
  • Ability to lead discovery conversations with technical buyers, including chief technology officers and product leaders.
  • Familiarity with crypto infrastructure, such as stablecoins, on-ramps and off-ramps, wallets, and custody, or a demonstrated ability to learn the space quickly.

What applying to Stripe usually looks like

Based on publicly available information, candidates applying through greenhouse for roles at Stripe can generally expect an online application requiring a resume and possibly a cover letter, followed by an automated confirmation email. Screening commonly starts with a recruiter or talent partner phone call, and the process may include multiple stages such as technical assessments, take-home exercises, or panel interviews depending on the role type. Communication is typically managed through the greenhouse platform, which may send status updates and scheduling links directly. Response times vary and candidates should not assume a fixed timeline. Interview formats often combine behavioral, technical, and role-specific evaluations, and additional conversations with cross-functional stakeholders or hiring managers are common. Applicants are encouraged to prepare for both technical depth and cultural fit discussions, as these are typical components of greenhouse-managed hiring processes.
