Job description

This is a fully remote role within the United States.

We're looking for a driven Senior Software Engineer to join our growing Transactions team and help eliminate the financial complexity of healthcare.

As a Senior Engineer, you will own meaningful work end to end with high impact and visibility. This role requires someone who can operate across the stack, building features and being product-focused.

Responsibilities:

  • End to end delivery of new features from problem definition and technical design through implementation and deployment.

  • Work across the stack, building APIs, data models, pipelines, integrations and UI as needed

  • Contribute to a small, high-performing team through shared ownership, authoring high-quality code and raising the bar for how we build.

  • Drive technical discussions, surface risks early and communicate progress of your work.

  • Collaborate with product and design teams to iterate on critical user flows.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • 5+ years professional experience with Python

  • Proficiency with modern front end frameworks such as Vue or React

  • Strong experience building and shipping production systems on a modern Python stack.

  • Proven track record of shipping complex, customer-facing features from concept through production

  • Strong command of SQL with experience designing and optimizing schemas and queries for non-trivial data problems

  • Product-minded approach: you care why something is built and whether it made an impact

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • B.S. in Computer Science or related technical field

Benefits:

  • Competitive pay with equity options

  • Stellar health care plan options (Medical, Dental & Vision), with FSA, DCFSA, & HSA options

  • Company-sponsored disability & life insurance

  • Unlimited PTO

  • 401(k) + 4% Matching

  • Fully remote work + flexible working hours

  • $750 work-from-home setup budget

  • Paid biannual in-person company summits

  • Quarterly $150 co-hanging stipend to meet up with coworkers

  • Monthly $100 health and wellness benefit

  • Generous paid family leave

  • Annual $1,200 learning & development stipend
