Verdacert provides USCIS-certified translations for immigration, court, university, and medical documents, with a focus on MENA-region languages and native-speaker review on every order. We are looking for a Swahili Translator - Legal to join our reviewer network and support certified legal translation work, including court documents, civil records, and other legal filings requiring accuracy suitable for official submission.

What you'll do

  • Translate legal and civil documents (court records, affidavits, contracts, certificates, and related filings) from Swahili to English and/or English to Swahili
  • Review machine-generated draft translations for accuracy, completeness, and faithful transliteration of names, dates, and numbers
  • Apply correct legal terminology and formatting conventions specific to Swahili-speaking jurisdictions
  • Sign certification statements attesting to the accuracy and completeness of each translation
  • Preserve original document layout and structure in the certified translation output
