Position Summary

The Public Health Action Labs (PHAL) serve as the school's engine for translating research into solutions and moving them to scale. The Labs are positioned to take the best ideas from the school's research enterprise, individual primary and secondary faculty, FARM Network, Ryan Institute, Office of Practice, and other idea-generating units and carry them forward through four coordinated Labs: policy, implementation, communications, and economic analysis. The Project Manager (PM) serves as the owner of a distinct project within the PHAL’s implementation lab. The PM will own the day-to-day execution of active accelerator projects within the labs – the accelerator projects are fueled by PHAL funding and supplemented by external partnerships and support. Day-to-day execution will include establishing and managing timelines, establishing project management tracking tools and meeting cadence, identifying and lifting up risks to leadership, holding stakeholders accountable for required actions, cross-lab and cross-office coordination, collaboration with private and public sector partners and ensuring that projects meet the metrics and agreed upon objectives.
