Editor

ABA Rank operates an independent, ranked directory and index of Applied Behavior Analysis clinics, vendors, software, and professionals, publishing rankings and provider profiles that are recomputed nightly based on disclosed scoring criteria. We're looking for an Editor to help shape the written content across our directory, listings, and editorial pages - ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency as we grow our index of providers and vendors.

What you'll do

• Edit and proofread provider profiles, listing descriptions, category pages, and other site content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency of voice
• Review and refine methodology, FAQ, and editorial pages to ensure they are precise and free of ambiguity
• Fact-check claims and figures in listings against source data before publication
• Collaborate with researchers, data, and product teams to maintain style and formatting standards across thousands of listings
• Develop and maintain an editorial style guide for consistency across the growing directory
• Manage editorial workflows and publishing timelines to keep content current as the index recomputes

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as an editor, copyeditor, or content editor, ideally in a digital publishing, directory, or media environment
• Excellent command of grammar, style, and tone, with strong attention to detail
• Ability to fact-check and verify claims against source material
• Comfort working with structured content and large volumes of listings or profiles
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple editorial priorities at once
• Clear, direct communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams

Nice to have

• Experience editing content in a ranked, review-based, or directory-style platform
• Familiarity with SEO or structured data best practices for web content
• Background in healthcare, behavioral health, or a related regulated industry
