Casework produces conformity files, Fundamental Rights Impact Assessments, and Article 9 risk documentation for AI hiring tools, aligning to regimes including the EU AI Act, Colorado AI Act, Illinois HB 3773, and NYC LL 144. We're looking for a Compliance Analyst to help build and maintain the documentation artifacts at the core of our productized engagements — working across regulatory frameworks, client hiring workflows, and AI vendor systems to produce records that hold up to regulator, auditor, and counsel review.
What you'll do
- Research and map applicable AI hiring regulations (EU AI Act, Colorado AI Act, Illinois HB 3773, NYC LL 144, and emerging state rules) to specific client tools and workflows
- Draft sections of conformity files, Fundamental Rights Impact Assessments, and Article 9 risk management documentation
- Review vendor-provided model cards, technical documentation, and audit results for completeness and regulatory alignment
- Support bias audit documentation, including audit scope, summary results, and candidate-notice language
- Verify citations and regulatory references for accuracy across drafted deliverables
- Track engagement timelines and coordinate with internal reviewers during drafting, review, and handoff phases
What we're looking for
- 2+ years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, risk management, or a related documentation-heavy field
- Strong written communication skills and comfort producing formal, structured documentation under deadline pressure
- Ability to read and interpret regulatory text and translate it into concrete documentation requirements
- Detail-oriented approach to citation accuracy, version control, and document structure
- Comfort working with ambiguity when vendor cooperation or documentation is incomplete
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements against fixed timelines
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AI/ML system documentation, model cards, or algorithmic audit processes
- Prior exposure to HR technology, hiring tools, or people-analytics platforms
- Background in privacy, data protection, or technology risk compliance
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven professional services environment
