Senior IT Analyst, Administrative Systems Management (HR/Payroll)

As a Senior IT Analyst within Administrative Systems Management (ASM), Duke's SAP Center of Excellence, you will serve as a key functional expert supporting recruiting, onboarding, and human resources technology initiatives across both Duke University and Duke University Health System.

This role combines SuccessFactors system administration, business analysis, project management, and stakeholder collaboration to enhance the recruiting and onboarding experience for Duke's workforce.

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Experience

  • Minimum of five years of experience in information technology, business operations, or financial management.
  • Minimum of two years of direct experience supporting SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting and Onboarding modules.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with administrative, technical, and functional stakeholders in a complex organizational environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within higher education, healthcare, or academic medical center environments.
  • Experience supporting enterprise HRIS platforms and integrations.
  • Knowledge of SAP HR/Payroll systems and related business processes.

Work Arrangement

This position may be eligible for Duke's hybrid work arrangement policy based on departmental business needs.

What You'll Do

As a Senior IT Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting and optimizing Duke's recruiting and onboarding technology landscape by:

  • Serving as the functional system administrator for Duke's SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting and Onboarding solutions.
  • Acting as the configuration expert for requisition templates, workflows, onboarding processes, and related system functionality.
  • Managing integrations between SuccessFactors and external platforms, including SAP, HireRight, and other API-based solutions.
  • Coordinating testing efforts for SuccessFactors releases and upgrades across Duke University and Duke Health stakeholders.
  • Leading and supporting projects involving new functionality, system enhancements, and onboarding of additional business units.
  • Developing reports and analytics that support business operations and end-user requirements.
  • Serving as a business analyst for HR and Payroll technology initiatives and special projects.
  • Collaborating with functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and technology optimization.
