Habeo builds the IT asset management and CMDB platform used by universities to replace ServiceNow ITAM, with native integrations to Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, and Workday. We're hiring an Integration Engineer to own and extend the connections that keep device and identity data flowing continuously into the Habeo platform — no agents, no MID servers, no manual imports.
What you'll do
- Build, maintain, and monitor production integrations with Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, Google Admin, and Workday (and over time Banner and PeopleSoft)
- Design resilient sync pipelines that handle schema drift, rate limits, and API changes from third-party vendors without breaking customer data
- Work with customer-facing teams to troubleshoot integration issues during onboarding and in production
- Extend the data model so new device, identity, and HR attributes map cleanly into the asset ledger and CMDB graph
- Write internal documentation and runbooks so integration behavior is understood by support and engineering
- Partner with product and engineering to prioritize new connector requests from universities (e.g., additional MDM or ITSM systems)
What we're looking for
- Professional experience building or maintaining integrations with at least one MDM platform (Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, or Google Admin)
- Experience integrating with an HRIS or similar system-of-record API (Workday preferred)
- Strong command of REST and/or SOAP APIs, webhooks, and OAuth-based authentication flows
- Comfort working with a modern backend language (e.g., Python, TypeScript, Go, or similar) and relational databases
- Ability to debug production data issues independently and communicate clearly with both engineers and customer-facing teams
- Experience with SSO/SAML or SCIM identity integrations is a plus
Nice to have
- Prior experience at a company selling into higher education or another vertical SaaS market
- Familiarity with GASB or grant compliance data models
- Experience building connectors as a reusable product feature rather than one-off integration work
