Digital PR Specialist

Higglo Digital is an ABA and behavioral health marketing agency that runs SEO, GEO (generative engine optimization), CRO, UX, web development, and digital PR as one integrated growth engine rather than six separate retainers. We're hiring a Digital PR Specialist to own earned media and authority-building for our behavioral health clients, securing the mentions, links, and structured trust signals that build credibility with caregivers, referral partners, and the AI answer engines that increasingly shape how care decisions get made.

What you'll do

• Build and execute digital PR campaigns that earn high-quality media coverage, backlinks, and brand mentions for ABA and behavioral health clients
• Research and pitch journalists, editors, and industry publications with newsworthy angles, data stories, and expert commentary
• Develop relationships with reporters and outlets relevant to healthcare, behavioral health, and the broader ABA industry
• Collaborate with the SEO, GEO, and content teams to align PR efforts with entity-building and AI citation goals
• Track, report, and analyze campaign performance, including coverage secured, referral traffic, and authority signals gained
• Identify data-driven story angles, surveys, or original research that can generate earned media opportunities

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated experience in digital PR, earned media, or link-building campaigns, ideally within an agency setting
• A track record of securing coverage in relevant publications and building relationships with journalists
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling pitches and press materials
• Working knowledge of how digital PR supports SEO and brand authority, including link quality and outreach best practices
• Comfort working across teams and disciplines rather than in a siloed PR function
• Organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing multiple campaigns at once

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or another regulated or high-trust industry
• Familiarity with how AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini surface and cite sources
• Experience using PR or media database tools for outreach and monitoring
