LandEarly is building an auto-apply tool that watches job boards like Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and Workable for fresh postings, then tailors and submits applications on behalf of job seekers within minutes of a role going live. We're looking for a Browser Automation Engineer to help design, build, and maintain the systems that reliably interact with these external job platforms at scale.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain robust browser automation flows that navigate, fill, and submit applications across third-party ATS platforms (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, and others)
- Design scraping and monitoring systems that detect new job postings quickly and accurately across thousands of external sites
- Handle the inevitable churn of front-end changes, anti-bot protections, and inconsistent DOM structures on external sites without breaking core flows
- Instrument automation pipelines with strong logging, alerting, and self-healing behavior so failures are caught and resolved quickly
- Collaborate with backend and product engineers to integrate automation results into the core application and tracking experience
- Continuously improve reliability, speed, and success rate of automated submissions as new job platforms and edge cases emerge
What we're looking for
- Professional experience building browser automation or web scraping systems using tools such as Playwright, Puppeteer, or Selenium
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript or Python skills, with experience running headless browsers at scale
- Practical experience handling anti-bot measures, CAPTCHAs, rate limiting, and other constraints of automating third-party sites
- Comfort debugging flaky, non-deterministic systems and building resilience into automation pipelines
- Solid understanding of web fundamentals - DOM structure, network requests, authentication flows, and browser APIs
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure for running distributed or containerized browser automation jobs
Nice to have
- Experience building or maintaining integrations with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Familiarity with proxy management, browser fingerprinting, or stealth automation techniques
- Background in data pipelines or ETL systems supporting real-time data ingestion
