LandEarly is building an auto-apply tool that helps job seekers get in front of recruiters faster - finding fresh job postings, tailoring resumes and cover letters, and submitting applications within minutes of a role going live. We're looking for a Frontend Engineer to help build and improve the product experience used by hundreds of thousands of job seekers.
What you'll do
- Build responsive, high-quality user interfaces for our web application
- Collaborate with product and design to turn concepts into polished, production-ready features
- Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth end-to-end functionality
- Optimize application performance, load times, and reliability across browsers and devices
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews
- Contribute to the evolution of our frontend architecture and engineering practices
What we're looking for
- Strong experience building web applications with modern JavaScript frameworks (React or similar)
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
- Experience working with REST or GraphQL APIs and asynchronous data handling
- Comfort with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of product craft and user experience
- Ability to communicate clearly and work well in a fast-moving, collaborative team
Nice to have
- Experience with TypeScript
- Familiarity with performance optimization and web accessibility best practices
- Experience working at a startup or on a consumer-facing product
