Job descriptionReq 3E1B6B8870

Netguru is a trusted partner in digital commerce. The company helps leading brands modernize B2B solutions, marketplaces, and retail ecosystems. Since 2008, it has empowered businesses with cutting-edge technology, AI-powered personalization, and world-class engineering and design teams. A certified B Corporation®, Netguru is trusted by major brands including IKEA, VW, OLX, Delivery Hero, Żabka, Wolt, Careem, and Vinted.

About the Role

You'll work on the front line of client engagement - presales and Discovery, not months of steady-state project work. Your core job: turn fragmentary client input (a meeting or two, personas, app goals, rough budget) into a quote-ready solution scope, often within days. You'll also lead Discovery workshops and, when needed, switch into delivery mode as a Product Owner on multi-month projects, scoping ahead of the development team.

What will you do as Presales & Discovery Technical Business Analyst?

  • Build solution scope for estimation from limited input, in cycles from a few days to a few weeks
  • Lead Discovery and scoping workshops (online and on-site): business needs, problems to solve, personas, value streams, expected system mechanics
  • Write functional and non-functional requirements — epics and user stories with acceptance criteria — and maintain the Jira backlog for the dev team
  • Design solutions end-to-end: translate business needs into features, define product KPIs, co-create initial architecture and stack recommendations with engineers
  • Act as Product Owner with product management elements on delivery projects

Salary ranges:

  • PLN 12 000 - 19 000 monthly gross (Contract of employment).
  • PLN 14 400 - 22 800 monthly before tax (Long-term contract (B2B)).

Requirements

Must-Have:

  • 5+ years as an IT / Technical BA, including experience in a software consultancy, including presales and Discovery - not only long-term project work.
  • Proven ability to produce a quote-ready scope within days from fragmentary input.
  • Hands-on experience independently leading client workshops and translating business needs into viable solution concepts.
  • Solid process mapping skills (BPMN/UML) and experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Strong epic/user story/acceptance criteria writing; fluent Jira.
  • Product mindset: PO experience, product KPIs, end-to-end solution design.
  • Enough technical fluency to co-create initial architecture and discuss the stack with engineers.
  • Fluent daily use of AI tools, particularly Claude - for requirements, estimates, workshop materials, and Jira scope.
  • Confident client-facing communication, up to C-level; English C1+ and Polish native.
  • Willingness to travel: up to twice a month, 1–3 days, mainly Poland and Europe.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Workshop techniques: Event Storming, Story Mapping, Value Stream Mapping
  • Multiple parallel clients in a consulting model; estimation and proposal work with sales
  • Product discovery practices; IIBA/PSPO certifications; German or other European languages.
  • Multiple parallel clients in a consulting model; estimation and proposal work with sales.
  • Experience in enterprise-scale, multi-system integration projects across multiple industries.

Benefits

  • UoP (CoE): Access to the WorkSmile platform offering benefits adapted to your preferences:
    • Multisport card,
    • Private health insurance package,
    • Life insurance,
    • And hundreds of other options to choose from 15 categories (shopping, leisure, travel, food, etc.).
  • UoP (CoE): PLN 175 monthly lump sum (ryczałt) for remote employees.
  • B2B: Discounts on Apple products.
  • Various internal initiatives: Team workshops and integration events, webinars, and knowledge sharing sessions.
