We help the world run better

At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

What You’ll Build

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship; it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.

Position title: SAP Globalization iXp Intern (f/m/d)– User Assistance Developer

Location: St Leon. Rot, Germany

Internship duration: 6 months

You’ll work with our user assistance team as part of a dedicated multimedia service, specialising in visual storytelling through creating product videos and graphics - with AI tools playing a key role in how we work - that help thousands of people get their job done. You'll have a dedicated mentor who'll set up a personalized training program and be there when you hit roadblocks. But here's the good part: you're not locked into one lane. Interested in AI, technical writing, analytics, or something else? This internship is flexible.

Oh, and you'll be collaborating with teammates across the globe- so your professional network starts here.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who takes the initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • You are studying Communication, Media Management, Technical Writing, English, Multimedia Production, or something related
  • You are genuinely interested in visual and technical communication and how they shape user experience
  • You are comfortable working with AI tools - whether for content creation or as part of a broader multimedia production workflow.
  • Bonus points: You are familiar with content management systems or tech writing tools
  • You are familiar with, or eager to learn, tools such as TechSmith Camtasia, TechSmith Audiate, and Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator)
  • You are reliable, a solid team player, and write/speak fluent English
  • You are comfortable working regularly in the office (we'll clarify the schedule together)

The process can generally include an initial recruiter screening, followed by hiring manager conversations and may include multiple stages such as technical or role-specific assessments depending on the position. Some roles may involve panel discussions or skills evaluations. Communication is often handled through the platform itself, though candidates may also be contacted by phone or email.
