We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

We help the world run better

At SAP, we enable you to bring out your best. Our company culture is focused on collaboration and a shared passion to help the world run better. How? We focus every day on building the foundation for tomorrow and creating a workplace that embraces differences, values flexibility, and is aligned to our purpose-driven and future-focused work. We offer a highly collaborative, caring team environment with a strong focus on learning and development, recognition for your individual contributions, and a variety of benefit options for you to choose from.

What you’ll build

As a SAP IBP ABAP Developer, you'll work with experienced developers and consultants to build solutions that help global companies plan their supply chains more efficiently.

You will:

  • Learn how SAP IBP supports supply chain planning processes.
  • Develop and maintain ABAP-based enhancements and integrations.
  • Participate in implementing new features and improving existing solutions.
  • Work together with functional consultants to understand business requirements.
  • Test, troubleshoot and support SAP IBP applications.
  • Continuously learn new SAP technologies and development best practices.

What you bring:

We're looking for curious people who enjoy solving problems and are eager to learn.

You have:

  • Ongoing or completed Bachelor's or Master's studies in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Basic programming knowledge (Java, C#, Python, ABAP or similar).
  • Interest in enterprise software and cloud technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills in English and Hungarian.
  • A willingness to learn and work in an international team.

Nice to have:

  • Basic knowledge of SAP or ERP systems.
  • Experience with SQL or databases.
  • Experience from university projects, internships or personal software projects.

Meet your team:

You'll become part of an international team delivering SAP IBP solutions for global customers. From day one, you'll work alongside experienced colleagues who will support your professional growth through mentoring, knowledge sharing and hands-on project experience.
Whether you're writing your first ABAP program or exploring supply chain planning for the first time, you'll have the opportunity to learn, contribute and build a strong foundation for your SAP career.
You'll gain hands-on exposure to AI-first systems and modern development practices, not just observe them. If you're early in your career and want to build real technical depth in AI-native application engineering, this is a good fit.

What applying to SAP usually looks like

Based on publicly available information, candidates applying through successfactors typically begin by submitting an online profile and resume through SAP's careers portal, which commonly integrates with successfactors for application tracking and status updates. Applicants may receive automated confirmation emails and periodic status changes visible within the candidate portal. The process can generally include an initial recruiter screening, followed by hiring manager conversations and may include multiple stages such as technical or role-specific assessments depending on the position. Some roles may involve panel discussions or skills evaluations. Communication is often handled through the platform itself, though candidates may also be contacted by phone or email. Response times vary, and candidates are encouraged to monitor their application dashboard and email regularly. Preparing role-relevant examples and reviewing the job description closely is generally advisable.”
