You will run and scale paid acquisition across Meta, Google, LinkedIn and new channels, and you will be accountable for the number of new brand signups every month. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for a marketer who thinks in unit economics, loves to test, and is excited about using AI to move faster.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, improve, and scale established paid acquisition programs across Meta and Google, and expand into LinkedIn and other paid channels
  • Own the monthly brand signup number, broken down by channel, and look for ways to grow it across the full top of the funnel
  • Test, evaluate, and roll out new paid acquisition channels
  • Define campaign structure, bidding strategy, keywords, and audience strategy, including retargeting, lookalikes, custom audiences, and exclusions
  • Source and test a high volume of ad copy and creative across all paid channels
  • Build new landing pages for your programs and run tests on design, layout, positioning, and calls to action to maximize conversion
  • Run conversion experiments on the home page and other key entry points
  • Maintain attribution and reporting that ties spend to signups, revenue, and CAC payback, and find new levers when a channel reaches its spending limit
  • Turn top-performing ad and landing page insights into positioning recommendations for the website and Product Marketing
  • Manage agencies and freelancers where they help you move faster

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or demand generation at a startup, with a focus on paid acquisition
  • Proven track record scaling a paid acquisition program on Meta and Google
  • Experience managing monthly paid media budgets in the five-figure range, ideally scaling spend over time
  • Experience testing new paid channels and deciding when to scale or stop them
  • Strong understanding of unit economics, including CAC, CAC payback, and LTV
  • Hands-on experience with campaign setup, bidding, audience strategy, and platform performance tracking
  • Experience running conversion rate optimization experiments and improving landing pages over time
  • Comfortable working as a hands-on individual contributor in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interest in AI and in using AI tools to improve marketing work
  • Able to work from the Vancouver office 3 days a week

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in product-led growth companies, ideally a two-sided marketplace, B2B SaaS, or creator economy business
  • Experience scaling a paid program from a small budget to a significantly larger one
  • Experience with LinkedIn Ads
  • Exposure to SEO, lifecycle marketing, content marketing, or marketing operations
  • Experience with data visualization and marketing analytics tools
  • Experience managing agencies or freelancers

Benefits

  • Competitive Pay: $100,000 - $140,000 CAD
  • Annual Reviews: yearly performance and compensation reviews with opportunities for raises.
  • Paid Time Off: 3 weeks of vacation to recharge.
  • Paid Holidays: observe statutory holidays with pay.
  • Paid Sick Leave: take care of yourself when you need it.
  • Autonomy & Ownership: you'll have real control over your projects and the freedom to shape how things get done.
  • Growth Potential: opportunity for career progression and financial growth.
