QA Reviewer

Verdacert provides certified translations of legal, civil, and academic documents (birth certificates, transcripts, court records, and more) primarily for immigration filings, court proceedings, and university applications, with a focus on Arabic, Farsi, Dari, Pashto, Urdu, Turkish, and dozens of other languages. We're looking for a detail-oriented QA Reviewer / Proofreader to add a final layer of quality assurance to our translation pipeline before documents are delivered to clients who depend on them for time-sensitive filings.

What you'll do

• Review completed translations and their certification statements for accuracy, completeness, and formatting consistency before delivery
• Check that names, dates, numbers, and other transcribed details match the source document exactly
• Verify that layout and structure of the translation mirror the original document
• Catch typos, grammatical errors, and inconsistencies in English-language output
• Flag documents that need additional native-speaker review or reviewer follow-up
• Maintain quality logs or notes to help identify recurring error patterns across reviewers or document types

What we're looking for

• Excellent command of written English grammar, punctuation, and style
• Strong attention to detail, especially with names, numbers, and formatted data
• Experience in proofreading, editing, or quality assurance, ideally in a translation, legal, or document-processing environment
• Comfort working with tight, deadline-driven turnaround windows
• Ability to follow detailed style and formatting guidelines consistently
• Strong organizational skills to track and prioritize a queue of documents

Nice to have

• Familiarity with certified translation, immigration paperwork, or legal document formatting
• Working knowledge of Arabic, Farsi, Dari, Pashto, Urdu, or another supported language
• Experience reviewing documents against source-language originals
