Bookkeeper

Wanderlust App is looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial record-keeping and support the accuracy of our books as the business grows. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys ownership over the numbers and wants to work closely with the finance and operations team to keep financial operations running smoothly.

What you'll do

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and maintain the general ledger
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and payment processor (e.g. Stripe) statements on a regular schedule
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and vendor payments
• Prepare monthly financial reports and support month-end and year-end close
• Track and categorize subscription revenue and expenses accurately
• Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with basic tax filing deadlines

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with recurring/subscription revenue models
• Solid understanding of debits, credits, and basic financial statements
• Ability to work independently and meet recurring deadlines
• Good communication skills for working with vendors and internal stakeholders

Nice to have

• Experience bookkeeping for a SaaS or subscription-based business
• Familiarity with Stripe or similar payment processing platforms
• Experience preparing books for external accountants or tax preparers
