Job description

What you'll do
- Design responsive web pages and site sections, from wireframes through high-fidelity visual design
- Translate brand and content direction into layouts, typography systems, and UI components
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define page structure, user flows, and content hierarchy
- Prepare and hand off design files (specs, assets, prototypes) for development
- Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and perform well across devices and breakpoints
- Iterate on designs based on feedback, usability findings, and performance considerations
What we're looking for
- A portfolio demonstrating strong visual design and UX judgment on live web projects
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma or similar
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and modern layout techniques (grid, flexbox)
- Working knowledge of accessibility best practices (WCAG or equivalent)
- Ability to communicate design decisions clearly to non-designers and stakeholders
- Comfort working independently and managing multiple design projects at once
Nice to have
- Basic HTML/CSS skills to collaborate closely with developers or make light edits directly
- Experience designing for performance-conscious, fast-loading websites
- Familiarity with motion/interaction design for web
