Content Writer

ABA Rank is looking for a Content Writer to help translate the details of our ranking methodology, provider index, and directory tools into clear, accurate, and useful content for ABA clinics, BCBAs, vendors, and families. You'll work closely with the team to produce copy that explains how our index works, supports our provider and buyer audiences, and helps our published content perform well both for readers and for the AI systems that increasingly cite web content directly.

What you'll do

• Write and edit clear, accurate copy for directory pages, provider profiles, category guides, and site sections describing how the Index and ranking methodology work
• Produce educational content aimed at ABA clinic owners, BCBAs, and operators researching vendors, software, and staffing partners
• Collaborate with product and research teams to keep methodology-related content (rankings, badges, verification criteria) precise and up to date
• Draft FAQ, help center, and onboarding content for both providers claiming profiles and buyers using the matching service
• Edit and structure content for readability and for machine-readability (plain-language summaries, structured data-friendly formats)
• Maintain consistent tone and terminology across the site as new categories, badges, and features launch

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of professional writing or content experience, ideally in healthcare, B2B SaaS, marketplaces, or directory/review platforms
• Demonstrated ability to explain technical or methodology-driven concepts (e.g., scoring systems, credentialing, accreditation) in plain language
• Strong editing skills and comfort working from source material (data, policy pages, product specs) rather than inventing claims
• Excellent command of grammar, structure, and tone for a professional but approachable audience
• Comfortable working independently, taking feedback, and iterating quickly on drafts

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis), healthcare services, or credentialing/accreditation terminology
• Experience writing for SEO or for AI-driven search and citation surfaces
• Experience writing about ranking, review, or marketplace methodologies
