ABA Rank is looking for a Frontend Engineer to help build and improve the web experience for its directory and ranking platform, which serves families, clinic operators, and vendors across the ABA industry. You'll work on the public-facing site, search and filtering tools, and provider profile pages that thousands of visitors rely on each month to research and compare ABA providers.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain responsive, accessible user interfaces for the directory, search, and filtering experiences
- Collaborate with design and backend engineers to implement new features end to end
- Optimize page performance and loading speed across the site's high-traffic pages
- Translate ranking, review, and profile data into clear, usable UI components
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested frontend code
- Debug and resolve UI issues reported by users or surfaced through monitoring
What we're looking for
- Solid experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript and a component-based framework such as React
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
- Experience consuming REST or JSON APIs and working with structured data
- Familiarity with performance optimization and web accessibility best practices
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with frequent iteration
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Nice to have
- Experience with search or filtering UI patterns
- Familiarity with structured data formats like schema.org/JSON-LD
- Experience working on content-heavy or directory-style websites
