The Role
We’re hiring a Head of Foodservice to lead how Confido serves the channel. Foodservice brands often struggle to see who’s buying their products and connect that activity to what they’re owed and what they spend. You’ll help turn that visibility into automated order-to-cash, better trade planning, and recovered revenue – setting priorities with Product and Engineering, guiding our customer implementations, and shaping how Confido shows up in the foodservice market.
What You’ll Do
Product & Engineering
Shape the foodservice roadmap with Product and Engineering, and set business priorities, validate designs, and ensure we're solving the most important foodservice challenges
Turn foodservice processes into clear product requirements across integrations, pricing, billback validation, contracts and bids, GPO programs, accruals, and forecasting
Synthesize customer feedback and market intelligence into actionable product insights
Customers
Lead discovery and design sessions with foodservice brands, from AR and deductions teams to trade, sales, and operations leaders
Guide customers through foodservice implementation on Confido, and train brands on how to manage their foodservice business in the platform, from validating billbacks to planning spend
Act as the go-to foodservice expert and partner with Customer Success to shape QBR messaging and address escalations related to complex foodservice problems
Go-to-Market
Be Confido's voice in foodservice with customers, prospects, partners and at industry events
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on discovery calls, deal support, content, and webinars
Track shifts in how brands, distributors, and GPOs price, plan and operate, and turn them into insights for the broader team
What You Bring
Must Have:
7+ years of hands-on foodservice experience at a CPG manufacturer, broker, distributor or GPO, in trade, revenue management, sales operations, deductions or finance
Deep knowledge of foodservice pricing and contracts across distributors, operators and GPOs
Working knowledge of GPOs and foodservice management companies such as Compass/Foodbuy, Sodexo, Aramark/Avendra, Premier and HPSI
Strong cross-functional communicator, equally comfortable with a customer's finance lead, distributor partner, or product manager
Strategic thinker who can see where the foodservice channel is headed and how technology should change the way brands manage it
Ability to translate business processes into product requirements and work closely with engineers
Willingness to work at our NYC Headquarters 5 days a week
Nice to Have:
Functional expertise in a specific foodservice segment: Restaurants, K-12, College & University, Healthcare, Workplace Dining, Lodging, Travel & Recreation, Military & Government, etc.
Experience with foodservice TPM, contract management or deduction software
Familiarity with foodservice data sources such as distributor depletion reports, Meal Ticket, and CREST
