DoubleTap Consulting is a senior-only software consultancy that builds custom websites, product platforms and internal software for streaming, SaaS and commerce teams, working with clients like Hulu, Auth0, Italic and Raven Health. We're hiring an Operations Manager to help run the internal engine behind our client engagements, keeping delivery, scheduling and business operations tight as we take on Q4 work and beyond.
What you'll do
- Oversee day-to-day operations across active client engagements, coordinating timelines, resourcing and deliverables with the engineers and designers doing the work
- Build and maintain the internal processes, tools and documentation that keep engagements scoped, sequenced and on schedule
- Partner with leadership on staffing and capacity planning across concurrent projects
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts and internal administrative operations
- Track engagement health and surface risks early, working directly with the senior team members running each build
- Own reporting on operational metrics such as utilization, engagement timelines and delivery milestones
What we're looking for
- 4+ years of experience in an operations, project management, or business operations role, ideally within a consultancy, agency or professional services environment
- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple concurrent workstreams with competing deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work directly with senior technical staff and clients
- Demonstrated ability to build and improve operational processes from scratch
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools
- Sound judgment and the ability to work independently in a small, senior team without a large management layer
Nice to have
- Experience working in or alongside a software engineering or product design team
- Familiarity with client-services or professional-services delivery models
- Experience supporting remote or distributed teams
