Technical Writer

DoubleTap Consulting is a software consultancy that builds custom websites, product platforms and internal software for streaming, SaaS and commerce teams. We're a senior-only team — no account layer, no junior bench — and the engineers and designers who scope an engagement are the ones who build it. We're looking for a Technical Content Writer to help us tell the story of the work we ship: case studies, technical explainers, and the writing that turns a finished engagement into something prospective clients and readers can actually understand.

What you'll do

• Write case studies and engagement write-ups that translate technical work (platform rebuilds, migrations, integrations) into clear, concrete narratives
• Interview engineers and designers to extract accurate detail about scope, decisions and outcomes
• Produce website copy, FAQ content, and long-form technical articles aimed at technical and business audiences
• Maintain a consistent voice and level of technical accuracy across all published material
• Work with the team to keep case studies and site copy current as new engagements ship
• Edit and fact-check technical claims before publication to ensure nothing is overstated or invented

What we're looking for

• Proven experience writing technical content — case studies, documentation, or long-form articles — for a software, SaaS, or technology company
• Ability to interview subject-matter experts and turn technical detail into clear, readable prose
• Strong editing skills and comfort fact-checking your own writing against source material
• Familiarity with software development concepts well enough to write accurately about platforms, APIs, and infrastructure without a technical background required
• A portfolio of published writing you can share

Nice to have

• Experience writing about streaming, SaaS, or commerce products specifically
• Familiarity with content tools such as CMS platforms and basic SEO practice
• Experience working directly with engineers or designers rather than through a marketing layer
