The Egyptian National Hockey League (ENHL) is growing the game of ice hockey across Egypt, with five clubs competing from Cairo to Alexandria. As the league builds its fan base and cultural footprint, we're looking for a Social Media Manager to bring ENHL's games, players, and stories to life across digital platforms and grow a passionate community of hockey fans.
What you'll do
- Plan and execute the day-to-day social media content calendar across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X, and TikTok
- Cover live games, including real-time score updates, highlights, and recaps for ENHL clubs and matches
- Create and edit engaging photo, video, and graphic content that captures game-day atmosphere and player stories
- Grow and engage the league's online community, responding to fans and fostering conversation around the sport
- Collaborate with league staff to promote news, tournaments, drafts, and community events
- Track social media performance and report on engagement, growth, and content effectiveness
What we're looking for
- Proven experience managing social media accounts, ideally for a sports team, league, or similar organization
- Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone across platforms
- Comfort with photo and video editing tools for creating quick-turnaround content
- Ability to work game days and evenings/weekends as needed to cover live events
- Highly organized with the ability to manage a content calendar and multiple priorities
- Genuine enthusiasm for sports and building fan communities
Nice to have
- Familiarity with ice hockey or experience covering it
- Experience working with sports leagues, clubs, or federations
- Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
