Elite Hockey HQ is looking for a Frontend Engineer to help build and improve the web experience for our training platform, which brings adaptive workout programming, skill video, and readiness tracking to hockey players and teams. You'll work on the interfaces athletes and coaches use every day to plan sessions, log training, and track progress.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain responsive, performant user interfaces for the web application
- Translate designs and product requirements into clean, reusable frontend components
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineers to ship new features end to end
- Optimize application performance, load times, and overall user experience
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews
- Debug and resolve UI issues reported by users or surfaced through monitoring tools
What we're looking for
- Solid experience building production web applications with modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong hands-on experience with a component-based framework such as React, Vue, or similar
- Comfort with HTML, CSS, and responsive/cross-browser design
- Experience integrating frontend applications with REST or GraphQL APIs
- Familiarity with version control workflows (e.g., Git) and collaborative development practices
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with cross-functional teammates
Nice to have
- Experience with data visualization or dashboard-style interfaces
- Familiarity with performance profiling and web accessibility standards
- Experience working on consumer subscription products
