Elite Hockey HQ is looking for a Motion Designer to bring our hockey performance platform to life through video, animation, and motion graphics. You'll help translate training data, athlete progress, and product features into visuals that resonate with hockey players, coaches, and teams across our app, marketing, and social channels.
What you'll do
- Design and animate motion graphics for product demos, marketing campaigns, and social media content
- Create UI motion and micro-interactions that bring app features like readiness tracking and training plans to life
- Edit and enhance skill videos and training footage with titles, transitions, and graphic overlays
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and content teams to storyboard and produce short-form video content
- Maintain and evolve a consistent visual and motion style across all brand touchpoints
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines for campaign and product launches
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Motion Designer, Animator, or similar role with a strong portfolio or reel
- Proficiency in After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with Premiere Pro and Cinema 4D a plus
- Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, and visual storytelling
- Experience creating content optimized for social media, web, and mobile app formats
- Ability to take feedback well and iterate quickly across multiple concurrent projects
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Nice to have
- Experience designing motion content for sports, fitness, or performance-related brands
- Familiarity with hockey or other team sports
- Basic 3D animation or illustration skills
