Higglo Digital is a growth marketing agency serving ABA therapy and behavioral health organizations, running SEO, GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), digital PR, CRO, UX, and web development as a single integrated engine focused on qualified patient inquiries rather than vanity metrics. We're hiring an AI Engineer to help build and scale the AI-facing systems behind our Generative Engine Optimization work - the tooling and infrastructure that tracks, tests, and improves how brands are cited inside ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity, alongside traditional search.
What you'll do
- Design and build systems that monitor and analyze how AI assistants and AI search overviews cite and describe client brands across multiple engines
- Develop tooling for structured content, schema, and data feeds that help large language models ground answers in trusted client sources
- Build and maintain data pipelines for prompt-and-page experimentation, citation tracking, and reporting across GEO and SEO workflows
- Collaborate with SEO, content, and analytics teams to translate AI-visibility research into shippable product features
- Prototype and evaluate applications of LLMs (retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, structured extraction) to improve entity clarity and source authority signals
- Own the technical quality of AI-related deliverables, from experimentation through to production reporting dashboards
What we're looking for
- Professional experience building software with or around large language models (APIs, embeddings, RAG, prompt engineering, or fine-tuning)
- Strong programming skills in Python or a similar language, with experience building data pipelines or backend services
- Familiarity with structured data concepts (schema.org, JSON-LD) or a willingness to learn them quickly in a marketing/search context
- Experience working with APIs from providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google, and an understanding of how AI search and chat assistants generate answers
- Comfort working cross-functionally with marketing, content, and analytics stakeholders, not just engineering teams
- Strong analytical instincts - able to design experiments, interpret results, and communicate findings clearly
Nice to have
- Experience with SEO, technical SEO, or search-adjacent analytics tooling
- Background in monitoring or evaluation frameworks for LLM outputs
- Experience shipping features into a production web application
