LandEarly is looking for a QA / Test Automation Engineer to help ensure the quality and reliability of the platform that job seekers rely on to find, tailor, and submit applications. You'll work closely with engineering to build robust automated test coverage, catch issues before they reach users, and help maintain a high bar for quality across web, mobile, and integrations with external systems.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for web and/or mobile applications
- Develop and execute test plans for new features, including regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Identify, document, and track bugs, working closely with engineers to resolve them
- Build and maintain CI/CD test pipelines to catch issues early in the development process
- Test integrations with third-party systems and APIs for reliability and correctness
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define acceptance criteria and quality standards
What we're looking for
- Experience building automated test frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, or similar)
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and bug lifecycle management
- Comfort writing and debugging code (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar) to support test automation
- Experience testing APIs and backend services in addition to UI testing
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into build pipelines
- Strong attention to detail and a habit of thinking through edge cases and failure modes
Nice to have
- Experience testing mobile applications (iOS/Android)
- Experience with performance or load testing tools
- Background working in a fast-moving startup environment with frequent releases
