Migaru AI builds an AI-native CRM that reads a sales team's email, calendar, and calls, and keeps accounts, contacts, and deals current automatically, cutting the manual data entry that burdens most sales teams. We're looking for an Analytics Engineer to help build the data infrastructure that powers the product's forecasts, dashboards, and the answers Migaru's agent gives when teams ask questions about their own pipeline.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and maintain data models and transformation pipelines that turn raw CRM activity (emails, calls, meetings, deal records) into reliable, analysis-ready tables
- Own the data transformation layer (e.g. dbt or similar) powering internal and customer-facing dashboards, forecasts, and reporting
- Partner with product and engineering teams to define and maintain clear data contracts between source systems and the analytics layer
- Build and monitor data quality checks and tests to catch issues before they reach dashboards or customers
- Optimize data warehouse performance and cost as data volume and query complexity grow
- Document data models, metrics definitions, and pipeline logic so other teams can self-serve answers from the data
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a similar role
- Strong SQL skills and experience with a modern data stack (e.g. dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, or similar tools)
- Experience with a cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
- Comfort working with semi-structured data (e.g. email, calendar, and call transcript data) and building reliable pipelines around it
- Solid understanding of dimensional modeling and best practices for building maintainable, testable data pipelines
- Clear communicator who can translate business and product questions into data models and metrics
Nice to have
- Experience working at an early-stage startup, building data infrastructure from scratch
- Familiarity with CRM or sales data (pipeline, deal stages, forecasting)
- Experience with Python for data transformation or orchestration
