Email Deliverability Specialist

Outlink AI is looking for an Email Deliverability Specialist to help protect and improve the sending health of outreach that runs at scale, entirely from customers' own connected Gmail and Outlook inboxes. This role sits at the intersection of technical email infrastructure and product, ensuring that automated outreach reaches the inbox, avoids spam flags, and keeps sender reputations strong across a large volume of connected mailboxes.

What you'll do

• Monitor and maintain inbox health, sender reputation, and deliverability metrics across thousands of connected customer mailboxes
• Design and refine warm-up sequences, sending limits, and throttling rules to protect domain and IP reputation
• Investigate and resolve deliverability issues such as spam placement, blocklisting, bounces, and authentication failures
• Own and maintain email authentication standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and advise on best practices for customer domains
• Analyze sending patterns and inbox performance data to identify risk before it affects placements
• Partner with engineering and product teams to build guardrails, alerts, and dashboards around deliverability and sending limits

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in email deliverability, email marketing operations, or ESP/MTA infrastructure
• Strong working knowledge of SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and mailbox provider spam filtering behavior (Gmail, Outlook/Microsoft 365)
• Experience diagnosing deliverability issues using bounce logs, blocklist monitoring tools, and postmaster tools
• Comfort working with data to identify patterns across large volumes of sending activity
• Clear communicator who can explain technical deliverability concepts to non-technical teammates and customers
• Experience with OAuth-based email sending integrations (Gmail API, Microsoft Graph) is a plus

Nice to have

• Background supporting cold outreach, sales engagement, or link-building/PR outreach tools
• Familiarity with warm-up tools and inbox rotation strategies
• Experience working directly with SEO or growth teams on outbound email programs
