For more than 10 years, we've been helping small businesses succeed by making financial management simpler, faster and more seamless. From disrupting the market with fast online funding to building innovative payment solutions, we're constantly evolving to better support our customers.

As we look to the future, we're continuing to invest in world-class technology, market-leading products and talented people who are passionate about making an impact. If you're passionate about helping customers succeed, enjoy taking ownership and love turning ideas into action, you'll find plenty of opportunities to grow your career at Prospa.

We're also proud to be recognised as one of Australia's Best Workplaces, including Best Workplace in Technology and Best Workplace for Women. Join us and unleash your potential.

The role

Own your portfolio. Grow your network. Back Aussie small businesses.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you’ll take full ownership of a broker portfolio, growing and activating a network of broker and referral partners to drive consistent deal flow.

This is a high-impact, phone-led role where your ability to engage, influence and energise partners will directly translate into growth.

You’ll be the trusted partner, helping your network understand our value, spotting opportunities, and driving mutually beneficial outcomes.

What you'll be doing

  • Own and grow a portfolio of broker/referral partners within your territory
  • Proactively engage, educate and activate partners to drive quality deal flow
  • Build strong market presence and create referral momentum across your network
  • Pitch and position Prospa’s value proposition to generate ongoing opportunities
  • Partner with the National Sales Manager and wider BDM team to unlock growth opportunities
  • Execute best practice channel sales and engagement strategies

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in channel sales / BDM roles (minimum 3+ years)
  • Strong track record of managing a territory and hitting sales targets
  • Experience working with brokers, aggregators, or referral partners
  • Exposure to lending, fintech, or financial services (highly regarded)
  • Ability to build trust quickly and influence partner behaviour
  • A natural communicator—confident, engaging and commercially sharp
  • Passion for growing partnerships and driving results in a fast-paced environment

Don't let a confidence gap get in the way of submitting your application.

What applying to Prospa usually looks like

Based on publicly available information, candidates applying through greenhouse can generally expect a structured process typical of this ATS, beginning with an online application and resume submission, often followed by an automated confirmation. For roles at Prospa, such as business-development-representative, compliance-officer, or sales-development-representative positions, candidates may encounter an initial recruiter screening call to assess background and motivation, followed by one or more interviews with hiring managers or team members. Depending on the role, additional stages may include skills assessments, case studies, or panel discussions, particularly for compliance or sales-focused positions. Response times vary and are not guaranteed within a specific timeframe. Applicants should prepare clear examples of relevant experience, as greenhouse-based processes commonly emphasize structured, competency-based evaluation throughout the multiple stages involved.
