We are seeking a Senior Manager, SoFi Plus Growth to help accelerate membership growth for SoFi Plus within the Member Business Unit. This role will focus on overall funnel optimization, sizing addressable market opportunities, leading the development of member signup experiences across teams, and tracking all placement performance. Success in this role will directly support our ambition to serve millions of SoFi Plus members with the best financial services subscription in the world.

The role will be directly responsible for identifying high-leverage in-product placements, analyzing opportunities within the funnel, and determining how best to address segment growth. They will build the measurement framework to track impression coverage and performance, along with optimization targets. A key aspect of this role is acting as a full-stack operator who can partner with other business units, using data to build compelling business cases to integrate SoFi Plus across the member experience.

This is a highly analytical and cross-functional role for someone who can translate data into insights that create growth, drive alignment across teams, and create clear executive-ready updates.

What you'll do:

  • Opportunity Sizing & Segmentation: Own addressable market opportunity sizing and segment definitions by population and placement type.
  • Performance Reporting: Own all-up placement and impression performance, including performance readouts, insight generation, and recommendations for optimization.
  • Measurement Frameworks: Build and maintain reporting on reach, impression coverage, placement performance, and incremental improvements over time.
  • Funnel Analysis: Analyze opportunities and drop-offs throughout the product funnel, ensuring new placements connect eligible members to SoFi Plus seamlessly.
  • Ecosystem Placement Strategy: Own the overall placement and funnel optimization strategy, driving the execution roadmap for SoFi Plus member growth across the member ecosystem.
  • Traffic & Business Forecasting: Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Data teams to forecast direct traffic, model adoption rates, and project the downstream business impact of new placements.
  • Launch Program Management: Track launch timelines for placements highlighting cross-functional dependencies, risks, blockers, and readiness gaps.
  • Cross-Business Partnership: Partner with leads in other business units to build compelling, data-backed cases to incorporate Plus in order to lift their own core metrics.
  • Risk & Growth Alignment: Partner with Risk leaders on how to safely execute against our growth vision, carefully balancing aggressive expansion with financial, fraud, and operational risk concerns.
  • Executive Communication: Lead executive updates, readiness reviews, and stakeholder communications related to SoFi Plus growth priorities and progress.
  • Operational Excellence: Create operating mechanisms that improve transparency, accountability, and decision-making across workstreams.

What you'll need:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in product management, product strategy, portfolio management, growth, analytics, marketing strategy, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience using data to size opportunities, prioritize growth initiatives, and influence product or business decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills, including comfort working with large datasets, funnel metrics, segmentation, experimentation, and performance reporting – especially through the use of AI-powered tooling.
  • Experience defining addressable audiences, channel opportunities, growth levers, and measurement frameworks.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment without relying on formal authority.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing executive-level updates, business reviews, and decision materials.
  • Strong program-management discipline, including the ability to manage timelines, dependencies, risks, readiness reviews, and stakeholder accountability.
  • Ability to connect strategic priorities with operational execution and measurable business outcomes.
  • High ownership mindset, strong judgment, and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get work done.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience in consumer fintech, financial services, subscriptions, loyalty, membership, or rewards programs.
  • Experience with lifecycle marketing, in-product growth surfaces, onsite/app placements, CRM channels, or paid/owned acquisition channels.
  • Experience partnering with analytics teams to build dashboards, measurement frameworks, or growth experimentation plans.
  • Experience working in regulated environments with Legal, Compliance, Risk, or Operations stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with SoFi products, SoFi Plus, rewards, member engagement, or cross-product growth motions.

What applying to SoFi usually looks like

Based on publicly available information, candidates applying through greenhouse for roles at SoFi can typically expect an online application followed by an initial recruiter screening. The process may include multiple stages such as a hiring manager conversation, a skills or technical assessment relevant to the role (especially for engineering, data, or analytical positions), and one or more interviews with team members or cross-functional stakeholders. Some roles, particularly those in compliance, security, or leadership, may involve additional evaluative steps or panel discussions. Communication is generally managed through the greenhouse platform, and applicants can commonly expect status updates or requests for availability through that system. Response times vary depending on the role and volume of applicants, so candidates should follow up politely if they have not heard back within a reasonable timeframe. Preparing to discuss relevant experience clearly is generally advisable.
