Job descriptionReq 4970099101

We are on a mission to pioneer the world’s next era of play. As we grow across Europe and Latin America, we’re building The Playstack - the technology powering the next generation of sports, gaming, and fan experiences. Join us, and help make it the most widely used platform in the world! From operations, to marketing, to product, we are looking for talented people who will shape how millions of customers play, watch, and connect every day.

Super Technologies is looking for a Head of Risk and Resilience to build and lead our organisational resilience capability from the ground up, making sure the business can withstand, adapt to, and recover from disruption, whatever form it takes. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role, focused on embedding resilience thinking into how every part of the business operates rather than policing it from the sidelines. Reporting to the Group Risk and Audit Director and supported by a small team of risk specialists, you will mature the function and help shape the wider risk strategy.

What the role involves

  • Lead operational risk identification and control assessment across business units, providing specialist and technical risk advice to executive committees
  • Own business continuity and disaster recovery planning, running regular testing, tabletop exercises and simulations, and translating results into action
  • Build resilience playbooks for critical business services, including third-party and vendor dependency risk
  • Act as incident lead or escalation point during major operational disruptions, staying calm and decisive under pressure
  • Embed resilience thinking into how business, product and technology teams plan, ship and operate, partnering directly with leaders to close identified gaps and working with Technology on IT disaster recovery, system redundancy and recovery objectives for critical systems
  • Build a network of resilience owners across key business areas, running workshops and training so teams can identify and fix their own single points of failure
  • Manage a team of 2 direct reports, supporting the wider risk team, and grow a small, hands-on resilience team as the function scales
  • Make the business case for resilience investment in terms leadership cares about, and represent resilience in new market launches, major product changes and technology decisions from the outset

Please note you may be required to travel to various offices across Europe and will also be required to work in the Μadrid office twice a week.

What we are looking for

  • Minimum 8+ years' experience in operational resilience, including at least 3 years in a senior or leadership capacity
  • A track record of building a resilience or continuity programme from scratch, or significantly maturing an existing one
  • Practical experience designing and running resilience tests, such as tabletops, simulations and failover exercises, and translating results into action
  • Strong working knowledge of resilience and continuity frameworks and standards (e.g. ISO 22301, BCI Good Practice Guidelines, or equivalent)
  • Experience managing third-party and vendor dependency risk for critical services
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to get business and technology leaders to own and run their part of resilience
  • Comfortable acting as incident commander during live disruptions, staying calm and decisive under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to executives and the Board

Nice to have

  • Experience in a fast-growing, tech-driven, or regulated consumer business
  • Familiarity with technology/cyber resilience and IT disaster recovery
  • Relevant professional certification (e.g. CBCP, CRM, or equivalent)
  • Experience operating across multiple jurisdictions/regulatory regimes

What we offer

  • Medical / Health Insurance
  • Open Annual Leave
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Training & Learning Development

Additional benefits vary by country and will be shared during the hiring process.
